# Business model

{% hint style="info" %}
dReader comes in pair with dPublisher which is our "creator" facing platform
{% endhint %}

dReader's business model is primarily based on monetizing the platform through a commission-based revenue model. The platform allows users to discover, trade, collect, and consume digital comics, and creators to publish and sell their comics. When creators sell their comics on the platform, dReader takes a commission on the sale. Additionally, the platform may also generate revenue through advertising, sponsorships, and partnerships with other companies.

The platform also allows creators to reach a large audience and have more control over the revenue of their comics by self-publishing, as opposed to traditional publishing.
