# Presales

Creators can kick-start their comics without over-investing themselves, hurting their budget or risking ruining the reputation by having a comic release (mint).

With dReader presales feature creators are able to upload the concept art along with the plot description and thus survey the audience's in such a comic.

With minimum time dedication, creator can come to a strong conclusion if the comic idea they had is worth pursuing. On the other hand, early project supporters lose nothing if the presale fails since the project will be canceled and their funds returned from the Escrow wallet.

However, if the presale succeeds... no harm is done. Investors have a copy of the comic issue secured (and possibly bought by a cheaper price than the regular primary sale price). Creator can start the production risk-free and with peace of mind because of the fact that the comic is sentenced to success!

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.dreader.io/creators/revenue-streams/presales.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
